As an artist, I value the magic of both storytelling and soulful conversation. They give us the facility to creatively interpret life. We are given a context to express ourselves, and through that creative expression we are able to connect our stories with the heart and soul of others. This connection allows us to cut through the awkward silence and shame that has initiated so many of us into a community of the walking muted and made us prisoners to the unspeakable terror of our individual stories. Most importantly, it affirms that we are not alone.
