Neycha has quite literally changed the projection of my life. Where I was tumbling toward an existence of invisibility and little self worth, Neycha's intuitive guidance lead me to a transformation of stepping into my power and shining my brightest light. Her unapologetic approach for skillfully navigating conversations always lead me to breakthroughs that I never thought possible. Thank you my dear friend.

Tabby Biddle, #1Amazon Best-Selling Author & Director, The Goddess Collective

Los Angeles, CA

Neycha is an incredible transformational healer. She brings her artist self to the forefront in helping her clients see and express their own creative selves. She creates and holds the space for elements of one's being that they may have yet to discover. Her deep respect and awe for the creative and transformational processes gives her clients permission to honor and appreciate their own process -- leading to tremendous healing and the ability to live life to its fullest! I highly recommend working with Neycha.

Catherine Calderon, Founder, Celebrating The Call

You are without a doubt one of the most gifted, intuitive teachers I’ve ever worked with!  What you gave me was a way of interpreting my life in a mythic way...looking at how I was going to move on and make what had happened to me worth something.  That reframing of my life was the liberation I’d been looking for.

Paula E., Attorney

Neycha provided me with a mirror to my soul.  She helped me to confront issues in my past that had become obstacles.  The work that we did helped me to address problems and elevate my relationship with others, and most importantly, with myself.

Neycha helped me to come out of my depression, throw away all the pills and make my life work again.

Aiesha Turman, Founder + Executive Director, The Black Girl Project

Brooklyn, NY

Neycha really got me out of a rut when it came to my thinking and correlating my actions with my intentions. Some of the work she gave me was very difficult because I had to really look at myself, warts and all, and embrace it. Because of K. Neycha, I have moved out of a place where things "happened" without rhyme or reason, to a place of consciousness and self-love. My life is very different and I thank her for helping to guide me.

Julie Pochron, Photographer, Owner, Pochron Studios

When you don’t have the answer, you have to find somebody that does.  Instead of what would Batman say, it became what would Neycha say? Awesome.

My initial call to Neycha was to help increase my financial income. But what we first looked at was all the debits that were happening in my life that had nothing to do with money.  In my work with Neycha, I’ve made radical leaps.  I live more authentically and am open to receive abundance in all its forms.”

Tanya Fly, CEO Nu Method

Thank you Neycha for creating a safe environment for my sons to find their TRUTH during a time when it was quite challenging…  When custody becomes a battle, it is devastating, especially for the children.  There were many that helped us navigate this part of our life journey, but your insightfulness and 'southern charm' allowed for their walls to come down and explore not only how they felt at the time, but more importantly to me, what they NEEDED!

WORKSHOPS/BOOTCAMPS

After attending Crossfade, I realize the onus is solely on myself to pick and choose what I will give life to - not only in my mind, but in my life. Crossfade empowered me to be where I am and to create genuine moments from the present. Thank you Neycha!

Esi Wildcat, Interdisciplinary Healing Artist, EE Holistics

Crossfading elucidates your personal "aha" moment and allows for true healing at your core. Neycha is an amazing midwife to this process. With respect for you, your story, and your feelings - she pushes and inspires, challenges and distills-and invites the group to do the same.  I recommend The Crossfade for anyone ready to unpack their personal luggage (emotional, painful, etc) and CROSSFADE into their next iteration. It's possible for everyone.

Haguerenesh Tesfa, Workshop participant

The crossfading workshop is brimming with an innovative and unique healing concept of spontaneous therapy that encourages participants to relinguish the space where YOU allow your mental toxins to have dimension. Neycha guides you through the "crossfading" process, helping you make pivotal decisions, let go of baggage, and move into being.

Sarah Wick, Workshop participant

My crossfading experience was multi-faceted!  Intention combined with fairly deep excavation seems to have led the way to spontaneous healing!  Interestingly, opportunities to utilize and observe my growth came immediately and have continued!!!  One of my favorite aspects of working with Neycha is that the work may be difficult and at times uncomfortable, but there is always LOTS of space left (and in fact cultivated) for the miraculous!

Risha Roxx, Workshop participant

INTERVIEWS, CONVERSATIONS, ETC.

I love the consciousness and depth of your questions. It gave me a chance to go to the depths of myself and find the real answers. I think that's apart of your gift!

Dionne Farris, Grammy award winning singer/songwriter

Please allow me to testify to the intuitive, eagle-eyed brilliance that K. Neycha Herford displays as an interviewer.  As a longtime journalist myself, I can say that it is the precious and unique gift to be able to deeply probe and question an interview subject with your own sense of unwavering candor and dignity.  Such people become legends at the top of their field. Neycha is in full possession of this rare gift!

Sun Singleton - Journalist, Musician

Simply put, Neycha is a force! Her unique style of ushering truth from interview subjects and clients alike is both gentle and firm at the same time. She understands the jewels that are hidden under the pain that we try to hide, and she gracefully digs until our treasures are unearthed.

Anita Kopacz, Editor-in-Chief, Heart & Soul Magazine

Awesome!  Neycha is a true gift to the interviewer or interviewee. Riveting conversation and Neycha go hand in hand!  We had a blast.

Ginger Broderick, Host, GingerNewYork TV Show

Thank you much for a powerful, interesting and unique interview, which is so rare with the propaganda press. You are brilliant, beautiful, so intriguing.

Sticman, Dead Prez, Critically acclaimed rap duo, Activist

Flaunting an eclectic approach to help seeking, Neycha's sista girl fire takes us to the beautiful yet unnerving place where pain and progress meet.Complete vulnerability never felt so damn good.

Edward Garnes, Psychologist and Founder, From AfrosToShelltoes

Neycha has a gift for asking the right question that stirs deep at the core of a buried, many times hidden, truth. Her conversations and warm energy creates a safe space to reveal that truth, pain, or revelation in need of testimony which, inevitability, is the catalyst for healing.   I've had the pleasure of participating in several conversations facilitated by Neycha and have made great personal discoveries as a result of these rich soul searching dialogues. Neycha also brings a wealth of wisdom to these conversations stemming from her own personal journey through pain to healing. Her personal testimonies add a depth and authenticity, giving us all permission to keep it real and reveal!

Liza Jessie Peterson, Artist, Writer, Educator

Neycha is a master at creating safe space for courageous conversations, especially for women!  To be in her presence is to be in a healing container that allows individuals to show up as their authentic selves - without judgment, while recognizing you will be challenged in the best of ways to be your best self.

Sabrina Hayeem-Ladini, Poet, Performer

What I like about Neycha during her interviews is that you're allowed to speak your truth uncensored, with respect and dignity. You're lead to feel like you're the specialist on your topic because you've lived it. Neycha is able to understand what you're saying. Perhaps it's her background, her pain, her happiness, her emotional and professional experiences that puts you at ease to flow as a speaker, sharing YOUR truth.

Nicole O'Connor, Writer

Neycha unearths hidden truths. Her laser insight is nothing short of astounding and always transformative. Be prepared!

Emelia Sam, 360SOUL

There’s no other way to say it; Neycha is a bulldog for the truth!  I know of no one more gifted or skilled in fostering healing environments for cathartic release and soul-stirring breakthroughs!  Do yourself a favor, and if you can, enter into a convo with her ASAP.  I promise it’ll shift something in your life.

WRITING, CONTENT & MEDIA PRODUCTION

A brilliant writer and people analyst who takes the worn art of the “advice columnist” and breathes fresh air, innovation and modern thinking into the concept.

Eric Easter, Former Editor in Chief, Ebony.com

Neycha brings truth to power with her work, communication, and experience, Reliable and consistent - working with Neycha is a joy because she stands firm in producing quality work via text and visual. Very personable and captivating - she knows whats on the forefront of the community. Very happy to have this working relationship!

Mary Pryor, Former Digital Content Manager, Centric TV

Neycha’s work is real. It probes and engages the human spirit because she narrates her grief honestly and vigorously. She does not devalue grief with superficial solutions and pointless platitudes. Rather, she bears witness to the struggle. And in doing so, she bears witness to the resilience in each of us. The result of her work is a resounding message of survival and hope.

Henri Nouwen coined the term, wounded healer, as a way to describe the transforming power of our common humanity. The word "trauma" is derived from the Greek word which means, “wound.” Neycha is worthy of the name wounded healer. She has been deeply wounded and, in binding her own wounds, she offers healing to others.

SPEAKING, CUSTOM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, etc.

Wow, I am floored. This is amazing!  The performance interventions of the White Noise Project offer a unique opportunity to bring the impact of homicide on survivors to not only victims, but also those who assist them, and the general public. I view these interventions as well suited.

Anne Seymour, Co-founder, Justice Solutions

I lost my father to suicide in 2012. In addition to prayer, suicide survivors need the support of someone who can understand their grief and be a companion. I don't think I would have ever made it through the wilderness of my suicide grief without the companionship of Neycha, who was instrumental in establishing a Suicide Collaborative Group in our hometown.  Neycha understood the depth of my pain and that of other suicide survivors and allowed us to share in a safe environment. Thank you Neycha for being a life-line to so many!

Angela Hairston, Suicide Prevention Activist

It was a honor and privilege to be trained on suicide facilitation by Ms. Herford for our suicide survivors group sessions. The unique language of cross fading made it a relative and fresh approach to the work we do. Kimberly is a beautiful testimony and walking model of Carl Jung's "Wounded Healer".

Chad Martin, Crisis Intervention Trainer/CLS, B.A.,M.DIV

I think it’s very crucial to the healthy career of an artist in New York to be able to fearlessly explore and understand oneself and Neycha helped so much with that!

Kate Fauvell, Workshop Participant, Creative Capital

Your panel had the most visible, extended impact on the filmmakers. They all incorporated a personal narrative in their pitch and bios.  Thanks for helping us move the needle on this program.

Kay Shaw, Director of Strategic Engagement, National Black Programming Consortium

...therapeutic, informative and uplifting.

Sammy Redd, Suicide Survivors Collaborative

I've worked with Ms. Herford and her creative programs since 1997. During that time, I had the distinct pleasure of having Ms. Herford design and facilitate a program entitled "Upping the Ante" where our student leaders left this experience with a firmer understanding on changing culture, expanding leadership qualities, and developing realistic action plans. It was an enriching experience and I highly recommend with full confidence Ms. Herford's expertise in a wide range of areas.

Victor C. Mullins, Associate Dean, Robert H. Smith School of Business

It is a privilege to be able to get this quality of information and these amazing presentations from amazing human beings.

Dulce Pinzon, Workshop participant, Creative Capital

From the inceptive, local collective of interested, diverse individuals who met with a pressing need to support survivors of suicidal completion, K. Neycha Herford - from long, participatory conference calls to traveling from afar to lead our fledgling group -actively assumed outstanding leadership in every area of the alliance’s needs.

Specifically, Ms. Herford, happily gave time away from her own professional demands to demonstrate suggestions pertinent and essential to launching a sensitive, emotionally demanding collaborative to assist individuals who needed profound encouragement from the epidemic number of area suicides. She expertly moderated our initial numeration of possible relevant activities to begin public awareness.

Furthermore, the most significant contribution Ms. Herford made was teaching a two-day training session which covered many grief support group topics of leadership necessity.  As a retired educator who was accustomed to many experts hired to lead professional workdays, I was anticipating someone who would take many unnecessary “breaks” and would look for ways to waste our valuable time. Ms. Herford was quite the opposite of my expectations!  She expertly and diligently stayed on task to a fault!  In fact, we had working lunches. (I am not even sure if she had lunch, as she was painstakingly concentrating on thoroughly informing us of all the training strategies.)

Overall, Kimberly Herford surpassed all expectations of orientation for the soon-to-be formed suicide collaborative support group. In addition, she either returned to our area physically to promote and participate in our pursuits, or she would contribute to conference calls time and time again.

Mary R. Wall, Retired Martinsville, Virginia, Educator

We contracted Ms. Herford's company through the Virginia Department of Social Services to provide a program to accommodate the job coaching, and personal growth needs of our customers receiving public assistance.  Ms. Herford's Changing Lanes program, created specifically for our social service office along with 3 other counties, provided exceptional professional services to our VIEW clients. We highly recommend her programs and the creativity and expertise she brings.

Janie Carter, Former Employment Services Supervisor Henry-Martinsville Department of Social Services

I've worked with Ms. Herford on occasion to create programs to meet the needs of the multicultural students of the University of Virginia.  Ms. Herford was not only informative and enlightening, but compassionate to the needs of all participants at our workshop allowing the participants to dig deeply within their collective spirits to find the truth behind how our own inadequacies from the past have contributed to stigmas and stereotypes that we have today.

Aisha Lloyd, Former Program Coordinator, University of Virigina
